Liquefied gases as propellants and solvents at GRIT

Liquefied gases are substances that are liquid at relatively low temperatures and pressures. When used as propellants, these gases expand rapidly to expel the contents of a container, as in the case of aerosols. Solvents, on the other hand, are substances that can dissolve other substances, facilitating processes such as cleaning and degreasing. GRIT’s product range includes a wide variety of liquefied gases for various applications.

Our fluorinated refrigerants:

  1. Dimethylether. This liquefied gas is used as a propellant in aerosols and as a solvent in the coatings industry.

  2. HFO 1234 ze. This is a low global warming potential refrigerant gas used in refrigeration and air conditioning systems.

  3. Isobutane Aerosol Grade. It is a common propellant gas in aerosol products, such as deodorants and cleaners.

  4. Isopentane / Isobutane. This mixture is used as a solvent and as a component in the manufacture of polyurethane foams.

  5. Propane Aerosol Grade. Liquefied gas that is used as a propellant in a wide range of aerosol products.

  6. Propellant LPG 3.2 bar. A product used in applications requiring greater control of gas pressure.

  7. R-152a. This gas is a refrigerant and solvent used in electronics and refrigeration applications.

  8. Isopentane. A solvent used in cleaning and degreasing applications, especially in the electronics industry.

  9. n-Pentane: This is a solvent used in the manufacture of polystyrene foams and in extraction processes.

  10. GRITENE® customized propellant. This product is a customized propellant of our own brand that adapts to the specific needs of the customer.
